Boys U8 Lacrosse Program

Players will learn the fundamental techniques of shooting and dodging, as well as defensive positioning, ball handling and stick checking

U8 - At the youngest level of lacrosse sanctioned by NHYLA, the players will learn critical passing, catching and ground ball skills as well as the importance of sportsmanship and respect for the game of lacrosse. The field size is significantly reduced at the U8 boys level to cross-field play as mandated by USLacrosse. There is no body checking in boys at this level. All players will learn the fundamental techniques of shooting and dodging, as well as defensive positioning, ball handling and stick checking. The U8 teams will generally have an eight (8) game NHYLA schedule with additional scrimmages and end of year tournaments
